Mom And Daughter Hammock

My 5yr old daughter and I are traveling on the 7 day Disney Wonder on Nov9-16. One of the ports is Key West. I was thinking of booking the old town trolley train tour. Is that suitable for a five yr old or will she become bored? What do you recommend?

Welcome aboard, Mia! With only a couple of weeks left until you set sail, you must be getting pretty excited at this point! Your mother-daughter cruise is sure to be a very memorable one. Though my family of four usually cruises together, I've taken a mother-son cruise with my little guy and a mother-daughter cruise with my daughter and both were so special! I'm sure you'll find the same.

The Old Town Trolley or Conch Train Tour is perfect for all ages. Your daughter will enjoy climbing aboard either the trolley or train, as that is an adventure in itself. Though much of the history of the area that will be described to guests onboard the ride might be over her head, I think she'll very much enjoy the scenic tour. What I like about this particular adventure is that it is a short one (allowing for more fun afterwards), but gives guests a sneak peek look at some other great attractions in the area. Once your trolley arrives back at the station, you can hop off and walk a short distance to further enjoy some of the sights you saw and learned about while you were on the ride.

I'll be onboard the Magic's November 9th sailing as well, and am considering taking the Old Town Trolley or Conch Train tour too, Mia. If you see me around the ship, please say hello!

I hope that helps as you continue to plan this exciting cruise. Let me know if I can help with anything else before you set sail!
