Hi my 13 yr old daughter and I will be staying at Pop Century June 20-July 2, we want a room close to shuttle and still not to noisy, I have a walking hanidcap. Also I want to take her to a tour she is a Walt Disney freak?

    Hi Lori,

You and your daughter are going to love Disney's Pop Century Resort!  I stayed there with a bunch of my teenage students last May and they adored this fun, colorful, and larger than life resort.  I suggest you request a room in the 50s, 60s, or 70s buildings of Disney's Pop Century Resort as these are closest to the bus stop in front of Classic Hall.  Any room that is within 500 feet of Classic Hall is considered a preferred room and will cost a few dollars extra but many folks consider it worth the extra money to save those additional steps at the end of a busy day in the theme parks.  Also, ask for a room that is not facing one of the pools if you're looking for a room that is relatively quiet.

I highly encourage you to take your daughter on a tour at the Magic Kingdom.  While many of Disney's tours are reserved for guests over the age of sixteen, there is one for guests over twelve that sounds perfect for your daughter.  Call (407) WDW-TOUR to book the Walt Disney: Marceline to Magic Kingdom tour.  What a great way to learn more about the life of Walt Disney himself.

Wishing you both a vacation filled with magical memories!
