    Carolyn from NY Asked

If you're traveling with a 2 year old and making a dinner reservation can you make the reservation for 2 and just ask for a high chair when you arrive?

Hello there, Carolyn. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I bet you are getting so excited, your trip is only a few short months away. When making advance dining reservations, be sure to include everyone in your party. Yes, this even means for your 2-year-old. For the safety and comfort of all Guests restaurants only allow a certain number of bodies inside - no matter what age. By adding your little one on to your reservation it will greatly help the restaurant prepare for your arrival. Did you know that kids under the age of 3 can eat at Walt Disney World restaurants for free? At all-you-care-to-enjoy style restaurants, like Cape May Cafe, you are able to fix your child as many plates from the buffet as they would like. At restaurants where each person orders a single entree from the menu, like at California Grill, your child is able to plate share from whoever you'd like at your table. If you wish to order your child their own meal, only then do you need to pay.

I hope this helps answer your question. If you have any others before your trip, I hope you'll come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
