Hello Moms, you're doing a wonderful job with all the questions! My question is, would the Fantasmic show be a little too much for my 5 & 6 year old girls? I've heard this is a wonderful attraction but might be a little scary for the girls? Thank yo

    Hi Jennifer,

Thanks for the feedback.  We all love what we are doing!  Fantasmic is one of my family's favorite night time attractions.  I have 4 and 6 year old little boys.  My little one was (his words) "a teeny weeny little bit scared" for some parts of the show (there are some Disney villains for a few minutes), but other than that loved it.  You know your children best.  The show is dark and can be loud.  However, I think 5 & 6 is an age where you can explain to your daughters that there are some dark, loud, possibly scary parts, but that the vast majority of the show is not.  You obviously know your children best, but my guess is that they will be absolutely fine.  You can also see clips of the show online by typing "Fantasmic" into your search engine.  You may want to check it out yourself before making a final decision.

If you chose to go, the Fantasmic Dinner Package is a great way to avoid the long wait to get into the amphitheater.  You make a reservation at one of a number of excellent participating restaurants and are given tickets after your meal.  We've eaten at Mama Melrose a number of times before seeing the show, and it was wonderful!  If you are interested, simply call 407-WDW-DINE and ask about the package.

If you chose to go, have a great time!
