Mom And Son On Run

My youngest son (age 4) has autism and we are planning our first trip to Disneyworld. I would like to go when attendance is low because I'm not sure how my son will react to large crowds. Do you have a few suggestions on when to make the trip? Thanks!

Visiting WDW during the off season is a great idea.  My family tends to visit in September when crowds are manageable and prices are lower.  August is a great month to visit as well to avoid crowds.  You might also consider visiting in January or certain weeks during the month of February.

Disney actually publishes a calendar on the website that gives recommendations for some of the best times of the year to visit.  They base their highlighted weeks on things like expected crowd levels, resort rates and weather.  Take a look at that for some help in planning your trip.  Hope that helps!
