We have 2 young children who will be 5 & 3 when we travel. Are there any resorts that have rooms/suites with 2 "real" beds AND a separate living area, but aren't 2BR? Don't like sofa beds, but want to be able to allow for naps or early bedtim

    Hi Melissa,

Separate sleeping areas is such a nice thing when you are traveling. I loved having space to put my daughters to sleep and then hang out to read or watch television with my husband. However, there were some trips where we were either in the bathroom reading with the door closed or out in the hallway to get them to sleep because we were in a single room. Now, we all go to sleep together but that is only after 14 years of touring Disney together.

Unfortunately, there is not a room configuration on property that would meet your needs. All of the family suites and one bedrooms have sofa beds to sleep on. Now, when my family travels and we are in a suite that has a sofa bed, my husband and I generally sleep on the sofa bed. I have to say it is comfortable. The only time I did not like the sofa bed was at Saratoga Springs when it first opened. However, I was here two years ago and the bed was fine in our room.

You could always start your children in the bedroom and then transfer them to the living area when you are ready to go to bed.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
