My 4 YLD DD loves to eat, but doesn't really care much about breakfast food. I think we should skip breakfast and head for the parks for early quick service lunch. Husband thinks we should have a big breakfast and then head out. What would be best?

    Hi Cecilia.

Your daughter sure sounds a lot like mine! Sometimes, it's hard to get her motivated to eat in the mornings until she's been awake for a few hours. Sitting down to a "big breakfast" that she would hardly touch would be pretty frustrating for me and more than likely cause some grumpiness at the start of our Disney Day.

There, I would suggest that you consider purchasing some breakfast items from your food court to have available in your guest room in the mornings and that you pack a few healthy snacks as well as bottled water in your theme park touring bag for during the day. Since it can take some time to walk to Disney transportation, enter the theme park turnstiles and wait in the queue line for lunch, it's great to have yogurt, breakfast bars and pieces of fruit ready to eat in the morning and take with you to eat on the go.

Also, a small soft-sided insulated bag or cooler is a good choice if you're bringing breakfast with you to the park. The only specific food items you cannot bring into the parks are alcoholic beverages and glass containers (other than baby food jars). Straws and drink lids are not permitted in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park for the safety of the wildlife.

Wishing you a pixie-dusted trip and please feel free to send more questions my way!
