This yellow tag at departing airport...will they know what I'm talking about? I guess I just don't understand but first time using magical express, got my reservations for bus already but want to make sure bags go to the hotel thank you

Hello Sarah! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

When taking Disney's Magical Express for the first time, I was a little skeptical that my luggage would be able to make it to my Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Room, as promised. Now that I've used it, I plan my first days at Walt Disney World Resort around the idea that my luggage will be in good hands.

When you book Disney's Magical Express online or by contacting (407)939-1936, you are sent an Information Letter and yellow luggage tags to affix to the baggage you plan to check at your departing Airport. Most Airlines that have routes through Orlando know about the luggage tags(in my experience) and leave them where they are. They may add their own luggage tags when you check them, so just make sure they don't remove them before they are sent off.

When you arrive at Orlando International Airport, make your way to Level B1 and Disney's Magical Express with the Information Letter you received in the mail. Once a Cast Member checks you in, a internal baggage handler at Orlando International Airport loads the luggage with your corresponding Reservation Numbers on them for transport to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel within a few hours.

Having your baggage taken care of allows you to begin your Endlessly Magical Vacation that much sooner with a trip to the Theme Parks, Advanced Dining Reservation at a Restaurant or an early jump in your Resort Pool.

To make your Initial day even more efficient, be sure to Check-In Online up to 60 days in advance of your vacation.

    Happy Travels!
