It has been 10 years (and 3 kids) since my husband and I have been to Disneyland, and it seems the Extra Magic Hour has changed. When we were there last, it was a one day only and only Disneyland thing....What parks and days are we allowed to use the EMH?

    Dear Melisaa,
Wow! A decade-long absence from the Disneyland Resort means it's time to bring out the Mickey Ears and prepare to have a Magical time with extra loads of Pixie Dust!
The Extra Magic Hour is an early admission option for registered guests of any of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels. It's available during every day of your hotel stay and basically gives you access to either Disneyland or Disney California Adventure Park for one full hour before the Parks open to the general public, on certain days.
It's one of many benefits of staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel!
In order to take advantage of Extra Magic Hour you must simply have a valid Park ticket as well as an active hotel room key card.
Currently, the Magic Hour is available one hour prior to park open at Disneyland on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and one hour prior to park open at the Disney California Adventure Park on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
I would also recommend that you consider making early morning breakfast reservations at either the Plaza Inn at Disneyland or Ariel's Grotto at California Adventure on days opposite of Magic Morning Hours. I say this because guests can generally enter the Parks before they open if they have a breakfast reservation even if they're not Magic Morning beneficiaries. If you do this, you'll be able to enjoy the Parks extra early every single day of your visit!
    I hope this helps.
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
    ChEARs!
