Years ago we attended a "Grand Gathering." We had an amazing time. We are returning soon with extended family. Is there currently anything equivalent?

    Hey Melanie!

Coming to Walt Disney World as part of a Grand Gathering was one of my favorite trips ever! We had such a wonderful time touring the parks, taking in the shows and enjoying the amazing dining experiences.

While there isn't a specific vacation package called a Grand Gathering any longer, there is a Disney Group Getaway. The Disney Group Getaway is for large groups needing 10 or more rooms. As part of a Disney Group Getaway you get:

    • Special theme park ticket prices
    • Value-added tickets not available to other Guests
    • Advanced purchase discounts
    • Bonus "fun visits" to Disney Water Parks
    • A customized online ticket store just for your group
    • Access to the Disney Events Group
    • Ability to create your own private catered events

To book a Disney Group Getaway you can either fill out the online form or call (407) 828-3318.

Not to worry if you need less than 10 rooms. There are also some special ways they can help with smaller groups. Call (407) 939-7675 if you need less than 10 rooms.

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any more questions about Disney Group Getaways or any other aspect of your Walt Disney World vacation please come back and see me.

Wishing you a *MAGICAL* vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
