This year I would like to make reservations for Fantasmic at HS. I am a little confused on how it works. There are 3 restaurants, I think, that we can make ADRs at?? Do we watch the fireworks from our dinner table? If so, which rest. would you suggest?

Hi Michelle! Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel, I'd love to help you understand how this works.

To begin with, Fantasmic! is held outside in the very large, open "Hollywood Hills Amphitheater". It is incredibly popular and the seats fill up at least 60-90 minutes ahead of show time. The theater is not located within viewing distance of any of the restaurants.

The Fantasmic Dining Package provides you with special VIP vouchers at the end of your meal. These vouchers allow you to arrive 30-45 minutes early (instead of 60-90). In addition, you will be sitting in a special seating area that is reserved specifically for Guests who purchased the Dining Package. You'll enjoy your meal earlier in the evening, then head to the Amphitheater in time to enjoy the show (without stressing about finding a seat).

You will reserve a table at one of these 3 restaurants in Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park:
    • The Hollywood Brown Derby (lunch or dinner)
    • Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano (lunch or dinner)
    • Hollywood & Vine (dinner packages only)
I highly recommend the Dining Package. The show is a "must-see" and it can be difficult to find a seat without the the Package. The Fanstasmic! Dining Package is available on all days when there is a Fantasmic! show scheduled. On days when there are multiple showtimes, the Dining Package priority seating is available for the first showtime only. You can make reservations by calling (407) WDW-DINE up to 180 days in advance. Be sure to specifically request the Dining Package.

    Enjoy your vacation,
