I have a 3 year old special needs child and I wanted to know what time is the best time of day to take him around the park.

To avoid both crowds and heat, I recommend visiting the parks first thing in the morning.  Ideally, you will get there before the scheduled park opening time and be there to see the special little "show" that happens upon opening.  Try to do as much as you can during those first few park hours while everyone else is sleeping in.  Once the crowds and temperatures rise you may want to head back to your resort for an afternoon nap/break.  Once your son is properly rested and refreshed you could head back to a park and enjoy a few more hours of park touring before dinner.

If you follow this advice your days will be fun-filled without being overly exhausting.  I hope the trip is magical for both you and your son!
