I have a 4 year old son and he loves Captain Hook. We have been few times and I haven't seen where we could meet him. Is Captain Hook ever out and about?

    Hi Lisa,

Your son and I have something in common: we both love Captain James Hook! That sneaky pirate can be difficult to find within the Walt Disney World theme parks. He's been spotted at The CharacterPalooza within Disney's Hollywood Studios a few times, but there is never a guarantee that he will be attending. Most Disney characters at CharacterPalooza aren't announced ahead of time, but even if you don't get a chance to meet the great Captain, I suggest attending this somewhat unknown event anyway. It's located near the exit area of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, and while it takes place 3 times during the day, our family has stumbled upon it around 5:50pm each time. There are so many characters that you and your little one will be surprised to see, like Mr. Smee!

Captain Hook has also been spotted at the end of the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage. This special experience is a dream for any little pirate, and being able to meet Captain Hook once you reach the shore would be such a great memory!

I hope this helps you with your vacation planning, Lisa. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask us at any time.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
