My 18 year old son has Celiac Disease. If we go to an buffet/family style restaurant I.e. Whispering Canyon will he get enough gluten free food to make it worth the price? Thanks.

    Hi Jennifer!
Great question! I have had the pleasure fo watching Disney chefs in action and they will absolutely go the extra mile to try to accomodate guests with special dietary needs. Just this past December, I was at Boma (a buffet inside the Animal Kingdom Lodge) and had a dining companion who had Celiac disease. After notifying the server of his needs, within minutes the chef was tableside offering alternatives to the buffet offerings. Chefs live to show their craft to all diners, and Disney chefs are especially inclined to exceed guest expectations. So, I recommend dining wherever you please, and just notify your server should you need additional assistance with the menu.
I hope this helps and I wish you a Magical vacation!! :)
