my 3 year old shelby loves princess anything.....i was planning on taking her to the princess tea. my other 3 year old emme loves all the boyish stuff such lighting mcqueen. any suggestions for a character meal for her???

    Hi Barry,

Sounds like you've got the best of both worlds with your daughters! There aren't any character meals with Lightning McQueen but she may enjoy 'Ohana's Best Friends Breakfast at the Polynesian. This meal features Lilo & Stitch so its less princessy.

Disney Junior Play 'n Dine at Hollywood & Vine at Disney's Hollywood Studios features characters at breakfast & lunch. Handy Manny, June, Leo & Special Agent Oso typically appear. Characters do not appear for dinner.

Another suggestion is Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House at Animal Kingdom which typically features Donald, Daisy, Mickey & Goofy. Characters only appear during breakfast.

Although these aren't character locations, my boys love Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney & Animal Kingdom and T-Rex Cafe at Downtown Disney. These are super fun but a little loud.

Dining reservations can be made up to 180 day in advance by calling 407-WDW-DINE or online by clicking here.

Although she can't dine with Lightning McQueen, your daughter may be able to meet him at Disney's Hollywood Studios. He should be appearing any day now near Muppet*Vision 3D. He should also be appearing soon in the Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show. I was there last week & he wasn't appearing at either location yet but they told me it should be any day now.

Although its not a character meal, if you're looking for a non-girly special experience, she may love The Pirates League (girls love this too). Click here for more details on what this involves.

Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
