    Terri Asked

I have a 9 year old that does not like really high rides. Is there anyway I can find a list of rides that I probably would not want to take him on?

    Hi Terri,

Most of the rides and attractions at WDW are more filled with stories and pure entertainment than intense thrills.  I can't think of a published list of high rides, but I did my best to list the ones I could think of.

    In the Magic Kingdom:
Astro Orbiter is similar to Dumbo, but much higher above the Magic Kingdom
Splash Mountain has a really big outside dip that will scare anyone who is sensitive about heights.
Space Mountain are Big Thunder Mountain are similar to other theme park roller coaster, but with very creative story lines and surprises.

    At Epcot:
Be sure to stay away from Soarin' if your son have a fear of heights.  The ride simulates hang gliding throughout California.

    At Hollywood Studios:
The worst ride in all of WDW would probably be Tower or Terror.  Be sure to avoid it.

    At Animal Kingdom:
You may not want to try Expedition Everest.  It is a roller coaster that is pretty high up.

At each attraction or rides throughout WDW you will find a cast member who will be able to answer questions about the experience right out front.  They should be able to answer specific questions to help you decide whether the ride is right for your son.

    Have a great trip
