Does my 2 year old need a ticket for the Pirate and Pals Fireworks Cruise or is it the same as park admission, 3 and up?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Lesley!

The Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage is always a must do for my family. This is one of those experiences that is great for the whole family, even for the smallest buccaneers.

Your 2 year old will not need a ticket. Guests ages 3 - 9 will need to purchase a child's ticket and Guests ages 10 and up will need to purchase an Adult ticket (just as in the parks). You will need to include your 2 year old in the total number in your reservation.

Pirates & Pals is awesome for little ones sensitive to loud noises. Because you're on the water and not in the Magic Kingdom, you don't get the loud boom that the fireworks make which frightens some small children. You do get the best view of the fireworks and the soundtrack is played on the boat so you don't miss a thing.

Here's another thing I like about it, you can take your stroller on the boat. They have a place on the back to keep your stroller during the voyage. That way, you can use the stroller to get to and from the dock without having to carry your little one.

Typically you're out on the water for about 55 - 60 minutes. You can take snacks for kids if you think you'll need them. You could also take something to keep the little one entertained just in case. Depending on what time of year that you sail, it could get a little chilly on the water so you may want to take a light blanket or jacket. Most kids really enjoy being on a boat and Patch does a great job of entertaining guests so the time goes by really fast.

You may want to take into consideration the time of the fireworks. If your little one is used to going to bed at 7 p.m. and the fireworks aren't until much later, you may face a meltdown due to being over tired.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
