I have a 9 and 8 year old (M/F). They fight like cats and dogs at home. I 'm trying to find the best room for our stay. I was thinking a Villas so ea. have their own room. Do you think it's necessary or will the magic of WDW keep them behaved?

    Hi Joy,

I have two boys very close in age, and currently, we are living through the "tell him to stop touching me!" phase.  I have to say, Disney has pretty magical powers, and my children are remarkably well behaved in the days preceding a trip.  (The fact that I regularly remind them how simple it is to cancel our flight might have something to do with this!)  They also get along quite well on vacation, and their biggest arguments are generally over riding Big Thunder three or four times in a row!

That being said, we enjoy having a bit of extra space while on vacation, and love staying at the Disney Vacation Club Villas.  We recently stayed at Kidani Village at Animal Kingdom Lodge, and were absolutely amazed.  My boys loved the pool area, and we thought the new table-service restaurant, Sanaa, was fantastic.  Another great option for more space on a budget are the Family Suites at the All Star Music Resort and the cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort.  My family has stayed at each of these properties, and have enjoyed all of them.  Each has either a full kitchen or kitchenette, which is great for having a few snacks or meals in your room.

Whichever you chose, have a wonderful trip!
