Hi, my 8 and 12 year old kids want to do the surf lessons at Typhoon Lagoon this august. I can't go into the water. Will I be allowed to go watch on the sidelines? Will I still need to register and pay the fee?

    Hi Kerri!

Can I be your child?  What an awesome mom to book surf lessons for your children at the Most Magical Place on Earth. They are going to have so much hanging ten in such an amazing setting.   Surfing Lessons at Typhoon Lagoon are offered on select days prior to park opening.  Park Admission is not required to book surfing lessons and you would not have to pay for the experience if you are a parent and just want to watch on the sidelines. You would need a water park ticket if you plan to stay at the park after the surfing lesson is over.    I do encourage you to bring a camera along as Disney PhotoPass Photographers are usually not available during the experience.   You can book the lessons by calling (407) WDW-PLAY or (407) 939-7529.

I hope you have a splashtastic time with your children in August!  Enjoy your trip and please visit us again with any other questions you might have about your upcoming Walt Disney World adventure.

    Surfs Up,
