I have a 2 and a 5 year old. I'm not sure if it's worth wasting our 3 fast passes on the AK or will we be okay if we just get there early. We only plan on spending the morning there and the only fp times available for the safari are during nap time.

    Hi Cari:

What a great question.  My daughter and I were just at Walt Disney World Resort last week and we were in a very similar situation.  We are early risers, and enjoy spending mornings at Disney's Animal Kingdom.  There were several attractions that my daughter NEEDED to experience, so I made my FastPass+ selections, however we did not need to use them as wait times were very reasonable.  We actually walked right on to Expedition Everest and Kilimanjaro Safaris.  I was able to then change my FastPass+ selections for later on in another theme park.  I would recommend being there when the theme park opens and head straight to Kilimanjaro Safaris to avoid long lines.  I have found that Disney's Animal Kingdom is a great theme park to be able to experience your favourite attractions without long lines in the morning.  Save your FastPass+ selections for the theme park you are planning on visiting after your little ones wake up from their nap.  Wait times are typically much longer in the afternoon and early evening.

I hope my answer helps Cari.  Please let me know if you have any other questions, I would be happy to help!
