Mom With Kids After Run

I have a 6 year old girl and 8 year old boy. I'm limited on our days in Disney. I know we're spending 1 full day at Magic Kindown, and a half day at Animal Kingdom. Which of Epcot and Universal Studios is better for my kids to spend our other full day at?

Hello again, Marci.  I'm so glad you came back to ask a follow-up question!  I'm guessing that you don't have park hoppers and so my previous answer didn't quite fit.  Hopefully I can steer you in the right direction with that clarification.  The answer depends upon the preferences of your kiddos.  For example, if your children (like my son) are the type to prefer to ride, ride, ride all the day long, they would probably be happier if you spent the day at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Though the park does feature a lot of shows, there are also some great attractions there, including one of my favorites, Toy Story Mania!

If, on the other hand, your kids are the hands-on, exploratory type, Epcot might be a better fit.  In addition to the "rides" there (and there are some great ones), Epcot also features a ton of opportunities to engage in virtual learning games within Innoventions.  Combine that with the chance to explore the pavilions in the World Showcase and you've got a full day of Disney fun, though not a ton of "rides".

You see what I mean when I say that the preferences of your children can make all the difference?  I think your best bet is to evaluate their personalities and see which of these two fabulous theme parks would be more suited to their individual preferences.  Good luck!
