Our 5 year old girl is in for tha big surprise! In late Sept she will think we're taking daddy to the airport but will find out she and mommy are going to DisneyWorld for 7 days. Her 1st trip to WDW. What are the must do/can't miss activities?

Hi Michelle - We are doing the same thing with our kids in two weeks!  They'll think they are taking mommy to the airport but they are really coming along for a trip to Walt Disney World!

There are so many things to do that I really can't do it all justice here.  The first thing that I'd recommend you do is to make dining reservations.  Many of the popular restaurants fill up well in advance, so if you have preferences, you should make the reservations now.

For your 5-year old daughter, I'd recommend breakfast at 'Ohana (at the Polynesian), dinner at the Garden Grill in Epcot, Chef Mickey at the Contemporary, and the Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom.  If your daughter loves princesses, consider booking a princess makeover at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique followed by a meal at Cinderella's Royal Table at the Magic Kingdom.

In terms of attractions, there are just too many to list here.  I'd recommend that you get a guidebook and take a look at what things you think your daughter will like.  Seven days is a great amount of time, and you should be able to see quite of the four theme parks, but having a list of things that are must-dos will be helpful.

I hope that helps!  Feel free to contact us if you have further questions.  Have a great vacation!
