Hi, Tiffany and Joe! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for your question!
I am so excited that you will be sharing the joy of the Happiest Place on Earth with your children on an upcoming trip. Wagons or carts are not permitted in the parks at all, so they are also not available to rent. While there is certainly a lot of walking and standing involved in visiting the Disneyland Resort, I do have a few tips to help you navigate the parks efficiently which will save you time and energy.
-First, start your days early and use any
early admission options available to you. You will find that crowds are very low in the morning and you can walk on to several attractions with hardly any wait at all.
-Make efficient use of the
Disney FASTPASS Service to help you skip the queue on the larger attractions that typically have longer wait times. To save even more time, consider upgrading to the
Disney MaxPass option which allows you to make FASTPASS selections on the
Disneyland app from anywhere in the parks.
-Plan to take breaks to rest tired feet and legs. This can be stopping for a snack and a little people-watching or popping in for a show like Frozen - Live at the Hyperion or Mickey and the Magical Map. My best tip for a small respite is to grab a
Dole Whip and head in to the Enchanted Tiki Room for a fun and relaxing few minutes.
I also think that all the excitement to be had at the Disneyland Resort will certainly keep your whole family's spirits and energy high! Have a fabulous trip!
