Hi. My 24 year old daughter and I are visiting WDW for four days in December. Which hotel do you recommend - the Grand Floridian or the Polynesian? We have park hopper passes and want to see most of the evening shows (fireworks, rivers of light etc). Thank

Welcome Kim! Thanks for visiting at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
This is a very good question. You are considering two amazing Disney Resort Hotels. Staying at a Monorail Resort is always a great thing when you are at the Walt Disney World Resort, especially if you won’t be there for a longer stay.
I love Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, the hotel is beautiful, you can take great pictures of the lobby, enjoy the Grand Floridian Society Orchestra and very good restaurant options. But, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is always my family’s first choice.
You will be very close to the Magic Kingdom Park, rooms are spacious and very comfortable, and if you choose a Theme Park View Room, you can watch the fireworks spectacle presented at Magic Kingdom Park - Wishes Nighttime Spectacular - from your room. Absolutely amazing!
There are good restaurants, beautiful spots for pictures and places to relax, including a very nice swimming pool. If you are planning a Character Dining Experience, a breakfast at ‘Ohana would be unforgettable! Delicious food and a fabulous encounter with Lilo and Stitch.
Hope this information helps your planning. Let us know if you have further questions.
    Have a magical day!
