    Susan from PA Asked

My 13 year old daughter and I have an upcoming trip to Disney World and are staying at the Polynesian. Are there any special room requests you would recommend we make? Patio, Aotearoa, Samoa Building, Fiji, Rapa Nui , Tokelau, Samoa, Tahiti, etc

    Hi, Susan!

Depending on your priorities, I'll offer two suggestions.

    1. If location is your prime objective, I'd recommend Rarotonga or any of its immediate neighbors. This longhouse is immediately adjacent to the Great Ceremonial House, and while its views are not as dazzling as the Lagoon or Theme Park rooms, its proximity to the Monorail, the Transportation and Ticket Center, 'Ohana and more make these buildings exceptionally desirable. Incidentally, you could find yourself with a great view of the Monorail or of the pool!

    2. If view is your priority. consider the following buildings:
Tokelau (garden views with views of the lagoon and castle)
Samoa (garden views with views of the pools and lagoon)
Tahiti (great lagoon and Magic Kingdom views and near Transportation and Tickets Center)
Fiji (garden views of the lagoon and marina. Close to the Great Ceremonial House )

Check out www.tikiman.com, a fairly new fan site that explores and reviews all things from Disney's Polynesian Resort.

What a wonderful "problem" to have, right?

    Have a wonderful trip!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
