Teens in the parks

Have a 13 & 14 year old daughter and son. We will be staying for a week and visiting each park. Looking for opinions on the must do's for their ages. Thank you for any advice!

Hi Vicki!  You must be so excited to be planning a trip to Walt Disney World with your son and daughter! As a mom of a tween and two teens, we all have our opinions on what our trip must do's are.

At Magic Kingdom Park, we all agree on any of the rides that include "Mountain" in their name.  Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is so fun!

At Disney's Hollywood Studios, make your way to Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith for a rip-roaring 60 mile per hour ride on a super-stretch limo.  Also, the rides in Toy Story Land are "Not to Be Missed," in our opinion.

My 14-year-old would tell you that Epcot's Test Track is his top choice because he loves designing his concept car in the Chevrolet Design Center.

Make sure to get your FastPass+ for Avatar Flight of Passage at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, where you get to experience an exhilarating ride on the back of a banshee.

However, our favorite way to end any day at the parks is with a fireworks show.  Last summer, I booked a Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing for the Happily Ever After Fireworks, and it was the best part of our trip!

    Enjoy your magical vacation!

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania!  I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique.  It’s amazing how many people you can find who love talking about, "The Most Magical Place On Earth!"  I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at middle school basketball games waiting for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
