I have a 3 year old daughter that does not walk, I dont know what is better if a stoller, or a wheelchair or a ECV, I usually wear a stroller but i dont know if we can use the stroller in restaurant and in the atrractions.

    Hi Miguelina ~

I have a son with Cerebral Palsy and I have been taking him to Disney since he was born. I would definitely use a stroller for your daughter. The wheelchairs that they have for rent are the normal size wheelchairs so it would probably be too big for your daughter.

Guests must be 18 years old to operate an ECV. They are for single riders and they do not want adult Guests holding their children in their laps while on board.

Little Mouseketeers with disabilities are able to use their strollers as wheelchairs and can take them in restaurants and in lines for attractions. In order to do this, you will need to go to Guest Relations in the first theme park you visit and request a red band that will indicate to Cast Members that your daughter will be using her stroller as a wheelchair. Be sure to put it on a handle so that is clearly visible for Cast Members.

Stroller rentals are available in all of the theme parks. They are hard plastic and do not recline. There are some local companies listed at the bottom of the Stroller Rental link on the Disney Website. Some provide strollers that will accommodate special needs children. They will deliver to your resort so your stroller is there when you arrive and pick it up at the end of your trip. A local rental company may even save you money versus renting in the parks.

It may also help you to get a Disability Access Service Card (DAS) for your daughter. Here is some additional information regarding the details of how the DAS works.
