I have a 5 and 1/2 year old daughter who loves Ariel, high school musical 1,2,3. This will be her first time to Disney world and were thinking 2 days at the magic kingdom and 2 days at the disney studio park. what is the best hotel to stay at?

    Hi Terri!

I think it really comes down to your budget.  The best hotels to stay at in Walt Disney World are the Disney Deluxe Resorts.  With a young child, you might want to stay on the Magic Kingdom monorail line which gives you quick and easy access to the Magic Kingdom.  The three resorts on that line are the Contemporary, the Polynesian, and the Grand Floridian.  Of those three resorts, the Grand Floridian is, generally speaking, the most expensive and considered to be the best.  However,  I prefer both of the others over the Grand Floridian with my favorite being the Polynesian.

Another good resort, and my personal favorite, is the Wilderness Lodge.  However, it's not on the monorail line, but it does have boat service to and from the Magic Kingdom.  I love the theming and the location of the hotel, which is why it's my favorite.

If your budget doesn't allow staying in one of those resorts, then you might consider a Disney Moderate Resort or Disney Value Resort.  My favorite Moderate Resort is Port Orleans Riverside and my favorite Value Resort is Pop Century.  However, the new Art of Animation Value Resort is opening up late next Spring and that might appeal to your daughter more than Pop Century.

Good luck with your decision and write back if you have any  more questions!
