I would like to take my 5 year old daughter to Disney for the first time (I also haven't been in my adult life!) and really need some suggestions... Best time to go w/o crowds? Dining options? Thoughts on resorts, and fast passes? Must DOs for my 5

First trips are so magical and 5 years old is such a perfect age!  I'm so glad you are planning to visit!

The best time to visit Walt Disney World Resort can depend on your preferences.  I personally always choose September as my ideal time to visit.  Although it can be a bit hot, the crowds are low, which I love.  If I had to pick a cooler month, the 1st two weeks of December would be my next choice.

As for Resort Hotels, Walt Disney World Resort offers a large array of options.  You are sure to find one that will fit your likes, your needs and most importantly, your budget.  A young Princess may love a stay at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or a Royal Guest Room at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside.

Eating is a huge part of my vacation and Walt Disney World Resort has you covered in that area too.   My son is a huge fan of character dining, and frankly, I love it too.  Cinderella's Royal Table is a must for me, as is 'Ohana.  If you haven't already, make sure you check-out the various Disney Dining Plans available.

And of course, we can't forget about FastPass+ experiences.  Must-dos really vary depending on what your child (or you) may like.  I invite you to visit the FastPass+ page to learn more about the program.

There's so much information to share but unfortunately not enough space.  I hope this information can help you get started in your planning.  If I can help you with anything else, please let me know.

    Happy planning!
