My 5 year old daughter is very close to 44". Will she need to be measured at each ride that has that height requirement, or do they have a place where she can get a wristband that identifies her as 44"?

    Hi Jennifer,

Disney does not have a wristband system for rides with height requirements. You daughter will be measured at each attraction, both at the front of the queue and just before boarding the ride itself. Don't worry, this only takes a second. The height requirements are in place for guest safety; Disney just wants to be absolutely sure that each attraction is appropriate for each guest.

For an in-depth assessment of the height requirement situation at Walt Disney World, you may want to head over the independent website touringplans.com and look for a blog entry called "The Ups and Downs of Height Requirements at Walt Disney World." This will tell you exactly what to expect during your visit.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
