Hi, My 4 year old daughter is autistic (non-verbal) and would not be able to go on any rides by herself. Are most of the kid rides at WDW made to fit a parent on there as well?

    Hi AnnMarie,

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel. Walt Disney World Resort is prepared to receive guests with all kinds of disabilities. You will be with her all the time at all the attractions. You can go to Guest relations at the first park that you will visit and they will guide you to make the whole process easier for both of you. They will probably going to give you the Disability Access Service Card. You can also bring to the parks a headphone or earplugs for the very noisy places, her favorite device or activity that distracts her, a sensory toy or calming item and you should put at your daughter a bracelet or nametag with all the important information. Plan all the meals ahead for minimize the inconvenient of waiting in lines. You are going to have an awesome family time with her. You can read more about Disney services for all kinds of disabilities at Disney’s official webpage and articles throughout the web like at Allears.net and Touring Plans. Come back with any other doubt.

    Have a magical day!
