I have a 6 year old. Should i bring a stroller for her, I noticed some people say to bring one. Any suggestions on wether or not i should? and If i should does it make it difficult to ride rides and move around the park? We are going on a very busy week.

    Hi Maria,

Thanks so much for your question. My oldest is also 6-years old and I faced the same dilemma our trip earlier this year. In the end, I decided to have a stroller for him and I am so glad I did!

I recommend a stroller as long as you can when visiting Walt Disney World Resort, even for children who would never consider using a stroller at home. Even though most 6-year olds are beyond capable of walking on their own, a day in the parks is unlike anything else and it can be exhausting.

If you plan to stay into the evening hours, your little one will almost certainly appreciate having a place to rest and may even fall asleep. Some of my favorite memories are with my husband walking around Epcot while our boys were sound asleep in the stroller.

The fact that you are going on a busy week is actually another push to have the stroller, in my opinion. Navigating heavier crowds can be easier when you know your little one is safely riding along. Most attractions have ample "stroller parking" and many times you may park your stroller in a central location and walk around to a few different things before moving on.

I hope this helps you make your decision, Maria. Wishing you many happy memories on your vacation!
