    Susan from SC Asked

We have a 6 year old boy and an 8 year old boy who we're taking to Disney World in 62 days for the first time. What activities / rides should we look at using our Fast Passes on?

    Hi Susan,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Fast Pass+ selection day is HUGE in our household. I trust that you have a good plan, but I have some advice in case you decide to make changes!

Be sure that you have checked the Attractions List for height requirements. To check the lists by park, just go to the Walt Disney World website, click on Parks & Tickets, then click on each park individually. Be sure to plan your Fast Pass+ rides strategically with geography in mind - we book rides that are close together or in an order to minimize walking.

Given the ages of your boys, I would suggest:

    • Magic Kingdom - Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Mountain, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. They would also probably enjoy Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Tomorrowland Speedway and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin.
    • Epcot -  Soarin OR Test Track (you have to pick one from Tier 1 rides), RELAUNCHED! Mission: SPACE, and Journey into Imagination with Figment.
    • Disney's Animal Kingdom - Avatar Flight of Passage, Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, and DINOSAUR.
    • Disney's Hollywood Studios - Star Tours - The Adventures Continue and Toy Story Mania!

Susan, other must-do experiences for your boys are Jedi Training - Trials of the Temple, Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom and Disney Phineas and Ferb: Agent P's World Showcase Adventure. Our girls love the adventure of them all!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
