Hi Moms! This year my family will have the privilege of being at WDW the week of Christmas. With crowd conditions being at a peak then, what happens if we have dining reservations inside a park that has reached capacity before we arrive?

    Hi Kimberly!

Unfortunately, if a park closes due to capacity, you will not be allowed to enter even if you have dining reservations.  If you are staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, then you are guaranteed access to one of the theme parks, but that may not be the one you want to enter!

Luckily, the parks don't close that often, though it does happen, and Christmas Day and New Year's are definitely very busy days at Walt Disney World.  The Magic Kingdom is usually the park that closes first as it's a favorite of many guests.

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions!
