Each year our family comes to WDW we get the dining plan(1 snack,1 sit down meal, 1 fast food). When we are at Hollywood Studios, we eat lunch at Starring Rolls. The sliced turkey sandwich is excellent. Is there any other place in WDW to get this sandwich?

    Hi Diane,

I totally agree with you on the focaccia turkey sandwich at Starring Rolls, and hopefully you and I are the only readers of this question to avoid revealing the secret of this valuable lunch spot! I've always considered it a hidden gem, especially on the Disney Dining Plan.

In my experience, I haven't found the exact sandwich anywhere else on property, however I do have a few other suggestions. Try Backlot Express or Studio Catering Co. at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Flame Tree Barbecue at Disney's Animal Kingdom, or Earl of Sandwich at Downtown Disney. I can also remember seeing a couple of turkey options on the lunch menu at Wolfgang Puck Express at Downtown Disney. At Epcot, I do know the Boulangerie Patisserie currently offers a turkey sandwich with garlic aioli.

If you're considering table service options for lunch, I'm a big fan of the turkey wrap at both Rainforest Cafe locations or the turkey sandwich at The Plaza Restaurant in Magic Kingdom. With the ice cream parlor next door, this makes for a delicious midday treat!

My favorite and last suggestion, Diane, is to order the Carved Turkey Sandwich at Be Our Guest for lunch, served with Pomme Frites. Not only will you be dining at the most sought after location in all of Walt Disney World, but within Beast's Castle ... truly magical and will likely become a favorite memory of your trip.

I hope my suggestions were helpful!

    Have a wonderful vacation.
