Yea!!!36 days to go...My mom and mother -in-law are flying while the rest of us are driving. They will both be in wheelchairs at the airport. When they get to ME is there anyone avaliable to assit them onto the bus if it is needed? Are the steps steep?

Absolutely, your mother and mother-in-law will be able to find assistance to help them onto the motor coach.  In fact, they can safely remain in their wheelchairs and brought onto the motor coach  (but the ramp is a little high in the air).  If they do opt to walk onto the motor coach, I do find that the steps are steep.

You will need to include a note in your Magical Express reservation that they will be in wheelchairs and in need of assistance; the number to do this is 402-WDW-MAGIC.

And if they are arriving between 5:00 am and 10:00 pm, they won't need to worry about their luggage; it will be delivered to their room.  Just make sure to attach the luggage tags sent to you by WDW to the luggage that is checked.

On a personal note, my mother is also in a wheelchair, and she never faced any difficulty this past summer when we visited. The cast members are incredibly helpful in accommodating her needs throughout the entire trip.

    Wishing you a magical trip!
