Is it worth visiting the parks with Extra Magic Hours if we stay on property, or should we use reverse pschology and avoid those parks on those days and instead go by the days when those parks have lower atendace? Going low season Oct. with 2 small kids.

    Hi Diane!

Although more resort guests may be motivated to do the Extra Magic Hours at the Parks, Extra Magic Hours are almost always less crowded than regular park hours. Remember: only Disney resort guests are allowed in the Parks during EMH, as compared to regular hours, which includes everyone, both resort guest and non.

Plus, you're going during a traditionally slower period for Disney. Crowds will be smaller in general, but certainly during "Extra Magic Hour Time." Also, Extra Magic Hours include AM extra hours. The AM extra hours are generally sparse in terms of crowd levels.

So yes, I definitely feel it's worth at least trying once. May you and family have a terrific time! :-)
