Hi there, Ron! Thanks for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
Personally, I like to visit the Disneyland Resort for at least 3-5 days. I find that with this amount of time, I can see most of the parks and do so at a somewhat leisurely pace. Since this will likely be your only visit to the Disneyland Resort, I definitely recommend at least three days, especially because Disney California Adventure Park is totally different than anything you can experience at Walt Disney World Resort. Plus, with a three-day or longer ticket, you have access to
Magic Morning at Disneyland Park. And if you happen to stay at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, then you are entitled to
Extra Magic Hour every day of your stay - including exclusive early access to Disney California Adventure Park. These early entry options are invaluable at the Disneyland Resort as you can really get a lot done early in the morning.
I also suggest purchasing a park hopper ticket because the parks,
Downtown Disney District, and the Disneyland Resort Hotels are all within footsteps of each other. So it's really easy to go back and forth.
Finally, you will want to prioritize attractions and entertainment that are unique to the Disneyland Resort. Matterhorn Bobsleds, California Screamin, Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage, Indiana Jones Adventure, Frozen - Live at the Hyperion, and all of Mickey's Toontown, Cars Land, and "a bug's land" should be at the top of your list.
Please visit us again as I would love to give you more Disneyland Resort tips!
