    Tami from HI Asked

is it worth trying to go to Disneyland when some of the kids will be less than a year old and some are 3 and under?

Hi, Tami! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for your question!

The Disneyland Resort is a truly magical place for Guests of all ages! In fact, Disney makes it really easy to travel to the parks with even the youngest of children. First, any of your children who are under the age of 3 are Guests of Mickey which means you don’t need to buy them tickets for admission into the park. Next, there are over 40 attractions that do not have height requirements, so even an infant can ride with you on attractions like “it’s a small world,” Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Pirates of the Caribbean, and so many more. In addition to oodles of attractions in both parks, around nearly every corner there is a different Disney friend to meet. Even when my daughter was as young as 18 months old, she loved getting hugs from characters and having them sign her autograph book. Plus, the pictures I have from those moments are priceless!

I would suggest traveling with at least one other adult, if not more, to lend you a hand while you are at the parks. It’s always nice to have help pushing strollers, assisting with diaper changes and potty breaks, and getting on and off attractions. Definitely plan to utilize the Baby Care Centers while are you there. They are equipped with large, comfy changing tables, high chairs, rocking chairs, and baby essentials and over-the-counter medication are sold there as well.

So, I wholeheartedly recommend taking your little ones to the Happiest Place on Earth to start making those memories early!
