Is it worth getting the "memory maker"? Seems alot for pictures....

Hi Amy! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

When thinking about purchasing Memory Maker you really have to sit down and think about how much you will use the service and if you think the cost is worth it. I personally love this service and can’t imagine taking a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort without it.

This service allows me to be in the pictures instead of being the one behind the camera. Disney’s Photopass Photographers have always been so good at capturing the magic for us. One time we had an early morning dining reservation. My daughter (2 years old at the time) took off skipping right down Main Street, U.S.A. She couldn’t have been happier to see Cinderella Castle. There was a Photopass Photographer who began to take her picture and the pure joy on her face that he was able to capture is something that I will cherish forever. It was such an unscripted moment and one that I wouldn’t have any actual documentation of if it wasn’t for this amazingly talented man.

With Memory Maker you are able to have your picture taken anywhere that there is a Photopass Photographer (ex. On Main Street U.S.A., in front of Spaceship Earth in Epcot, on Hollywood Boulevard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and in front of the Tree of Life at Disney’s Animal Kingdom just to name a few.) You also can capture moments on some of the attractions and rides, and also some Character encounters. With Memory Maker all of the photos that are taken during your trip are available for download so you don’t have to pick and choose which photos you want to pay for.
If you think that you will take advantage of getting your photos taken and are hoping to purchase a few then I would say it is worth the money!

I hope that your upcoming vacation is Unforgettable!
