Is it worth it to use fast pass+ reservation for Illuminations at epcot? Does this mean we are guaranteed a prime viewing spot?

    Hi Sigrid!

I have tried out the new FastPass + system a few times and I really like it. The FastPass + for Illuminations:Reflections of Earth will let you in to a special viewing area which normally is located between the two stores at the entrance to World Showcase. I have watched Illuminations: Reflections of Earth in this location many times and it really provides a great view. The main benefit is that you will not have to wait for a good viewing spot around the World Showcase Lagoon (typically you would have to wait 30 to 45 minutes to secure a prime view spot for Illuminations: Reflections of Earth). All that being said, I would recommend using your FastPass + for Soarin' or Test Track because the wait times for these attractions can typically range from 90 to 120 minutes or more. You could find a prime spot for Illuminations: Reflections of Earth only 30 minutes ahead of time without using one of your FastPass + options.

I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!
