Is it worth it for a college student (out-of-state) to purchase an annual pass?

    Greetings, Danielle!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I love that you are considering adding a little more magic to your upcoming year by purchasing a Disneyland Annual Passport.

I currently am an out-of-state resident who is a Disneyland Resort Annual Passport holder living in New Mexico, and my pass has definitely been worth it. Many college-aged students find the parks a great way to unwind with friends, so I know you will have endless opportunities for making fun memories if you choose to become a Passholder. You may want to do some math to figure out how many days you plan on visiting the parks during the year to see which pass will be right for you. Keep in mind that certain passes have Blockout dates when you may not be able to enter, so look at each Passport carefully to determine which will fit your schedule and needs the most. Each Passport type also comes with different perks and benefits such as discounts on shopping and dining, parking, or Disney MaxPass.

When you utilize the awesome mobile ordering feature on the Disneyland app as a Passholder, your AP discount will be automatically applied to food orders which is so cool. It makes it so easy to save money while also maximizing your time so you don't have to wait in select Quick Service restaurant lines. This is definitely a budget-friendly college feature you will love.

I hope this helps, and please return if you have any other questions. Hope you have a magical day!
