We are going to be at "World" May 22-26 and are staying on property for the first time!(so excited!) Wondering if you could tell me exactly how much of a benefit the transportation between parks are? I've heard mixed reviews and am really trying

    Hi Amy!

We will be arriving in Disney World on the day that you are leaving... we will just miss each other!  In my heart of hearts, I cannot recommend staying on property HIGHLY ENOUGH!  With the addition of the Value priced resorts, I truly believe that there is a Disney Resort to fit every family's budget.  That being said, I am sooo excited for you!

Being immersed in the Disney magic 24 hours a day is well, magical!  The Extra Magic Hours are a phenomenal way to spend more time in the parks and we love taking advantage of having our souvenirs sent back to our resort free of charge.  Of course, Disney's Magical Express airport transfer is such a fabulous convenience and it is totally FREE!  But back to your major concern...Disney transportation.  I am a huge fan of Disney transportation and wouldn't dream of driving to the parks.

As you may have heard, the Disney bus system is not always the quickest route to and from your destination; however, it is by far the most convenient!  We love being dropped off right at the entrance to the parks, rather than parking, taking a tram to the Ticket and Transportation Center and then taking the monorail to the Magic Kingdom - whew!  Also, at the end of a long day, there is nothing better than falling into your seat on the bus or monorail and letting Disney do the driving.  If you would like to check out the quickest routes using Disney transportation, visit ourlaughingplace.com and then check out their "Transportation Wizard."

Enjoy your first trip staying on resort property - you will never want to leave!!!
