I have wooden Mickey shapes that I am wanting to have autographed by the characters. What is the smallest item they can see to sign and how can I help them see the shape better?

    Hi there, Monica!

A highlight of a visit to Walt Disney World is visiting with the characters and having them sign their autographs to something special. There are a few things to consider.

First, when considering how small the item is, keep in mind that the characters do better with a LARGE pen - like a thicker Sharpie style marker or a fat ink pen. And just by virtue of the fact that most of the characters have really big hands, signing something too small would be problematic. Some of their signatures are pretty big, too, so keep that in mind as well.

I would say the smallest would be not much smaller than the size of an average autograph book page - maybe as small as a 3"x5" card. That's a lot of smalls in one sentence to basically say you don't want anything that will be awkward with big paws or hands.

Did you know that you can get a few character experiences using the FastPass+ selections? They help you avoid some of the wait and in most instances, you get to see multiple characters at the same time.

Have so much fun collecting your autographs. I'd love to know what cool project this turns into!
