I was wondering if my two boys could still dress up in costumes on halloween while we are at the parks, and if there is anything special planned in the parks on that day? We will not be attending the not so scary halloween party due to financial constrants

    Hi, Sarah!

Your children are welcome to dress up in costume on Halloween at any of the Parks. While the Parks are decorated for Halloween and the Fall, there will not be anything Halloween-specific at any of the Parks beyond Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. at the Magic Kingdom that evening.

This should not deter you from letting the little ones dress up and have their photos taken with their favorite characters, however; those shots will make for a unique set of memories ready for framing or scrapbooking!

Disney does have costume guidelines; the costume should not:
    • Obstruct the guest's view or interfere with their ability to board/unload from attractions and/or the Walt Disney World Resort transportation system (including monorails, ferry boats and motorcoaches).
    • Drag on the ground.
    • Contain sharp or pointed objects or material that may accidentally stike another guest.
    • Be offensive to other guests.
    • Contain any weapons which resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon.
Beyond that, let your creativity fly - and have a fantastic time!

    See you later, celebrator!
