I was wondering we are taking my daughter to WDW for her birthday next april 2010. I have been reading a lot trying to get all the information I can, I noticed that a lot of people go for 1 week. We are planning on going for 2 weeks is that to long?

    Hi Mandy,

I am laughing as I write this, as I would stay for weeks at a time if we could. If you are able to stay that amount of time that is FANTASTIC! Actually you will most likely run into other guests doing the same thing. We have spent two weeks there many times and some of my fellow moms stay that long or longer on a regular basis. The great thing about having a longer stay is that it gives you plenty of time to slow down and enjoy the parks as well as the numerous other activites offered at Disney World.

Here are some great options for additional activites that you would have time to enjoy:

    • An afternoon at the spa 407-824-2332 or 407-827-4455
    • A round of miniature golf at one of the two locations, Winter/Summerland or Fantasia Gardens
    • An afternoon at Disney Quest, the interactive virtual gaming center located at Disney's Westside.
    • A family photosession shot by a Disney photopass professional 407-934-4004
    • Take in some activities at Disney's Wide World of Sports 407-828-3267
    • Shopping at Downtown Disney
    • A wet and wild adventure at the water parks, Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach
    • A behind the scenes tour at one of the parks 407-939-8687
    • A showing of La Nouba Cirque du Soleil 407-939-7600
    • A nice relaxing day or two at the resort pool
    • A fishing adventure 407-939-2277

This is just a small selection of the many activites you could enjoy. I would suggest visiting here for additional information on all the options available. Have fun planning your two weeks of magic and I hope you have a fantastic trip!
