Just wondering if you can share plates at table service dining and only be charged for one of your credits. Thanks

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Julie!

The Disney Dining Plan is a deliciously wonderful way to budget for your meals ahead of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! When it comes to splitting Table Service meals, it can get a little tricky, but it is not impossible. If you are dining at a buffet, family-style meal or a Dinner Show, then each Guest at the table will require a Table Service Credit (or 2 for certain meals). If it is an a la carte menu, then there may be the option of splitting a meal. My husband and I did this at Be Our Guest Restaurant as we were full from a day of snacking but still wanted to have the dining experience. Please keep in mind that splitting meals should be discussed with your server to ensure that they are aware of your plans.

Did you know that you can make your Advanced Dining Reservations up to 180 days in advance online or by calling Disney Dining Reservations? For most Disney Restaurants, you require only a hold with a valid credit card. Although there is a cancellation policy, I know that you won’t want to cancel your plans because Disney Restaurants offer creative and healthy options that you won’t find anywhere else!

Bon appetit, and come and visit us again real soon,

    Jen
