Hi Jennifer,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I sense the excitement in your home as you get closer to the time of your trip!
There are a number of
Star Wars attractions at the Walt Disney World Resort. Some of them I would definitely recommend that you pre-book. Others you have to sign-up on the day of your visit to Disney's Hollywood Studios.
One of the most popular attractions is
Jedi Training - Trials of the Temple. Currently, parents or guardians must take young Jedi to sign-up at the Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost on the morning of their visit. I suggest that you arrive to the park before it opens and then head directly to the sign-up location. If you can, make a pre-park opening
Dining Reservation at Hollywood & Vine. It is very close to the sign-up location. The last time we visited, we made our dining reservation for 8:45 a.m. (the park opened at 9:00 a.m.) and were able to sign-up for Jedi Training just before we ate.
The
Star Wars Guided Tour and Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party are two activities for which I would definitely suggest advance reservations. Other attractions do not require reservations. One of our favorite rides is
Star Tours - The Adventures Continue. Although you can make a Fast Pass+ reservation for it, we have often found the stand-by line to be manageable.
May the Force be with you!
