Hi! I was wondering if it is possible to order military salute tickets over the phone and use my Visa Redemption Rewards to pay for them? I know they must be activated when we arrive, but would like the ability to have them early for FastPass Reservations.

Hi Christa, welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! First let me say a big Thank You for loving and supporting a member of the U.S. Military. As an Air Force wife I know it's not easy sometimes, but as Winnie the Pooh said, "How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard."

This is a tricky one as all Walt Disney World Resort Military Tickets (which includes discounted Magic Your Way tickets, special event tickets like Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, and the ever popular multi-day military promotional tickets) can only be purchased in person at a ticket office on a base/post, at the Shades of Green ticket counter, at the front gate of a Walt Disney World Resort theme or water park, or at the Guest Relations counter at Disney Springs. You can't use your rewards when buying on base, and waiting until you're in Orlando you'll miss out on your FastPass+ window.

Fret not, as I have some ideas. Have you already booked your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel room? You may be able to get a great military rate directly through Disney and I know you can apply your rewards towards that. Military members are also allowed to add a dining plan to a rooms-only reservation, which will be lumped into your hotel bill, so your rewards can go to both your room and meals.

Another option, can you redeem your rewards for Disney Gift Cards? Disney Gift Cards can be used almost everywhere at Walt Disney World Resort and can pay for snacks, souvenirs, couples massages, even Memory Maker. (Pro Tip: there is also a military discount on Memory Maker too!)

I hope this helped problem solve a bit, Christa, and we'll see you real soon!
