Hi I was wondering where can i lay down or relax in Magic Kingdom and Epcot?

    Hello, Joyce,

Ahhh, the power of a super nap, which I find a necessary part of my visit to the theme parks.  While at the Magic Kingdom, there are some nice places you can slip away to relax or even try to catch a little nap. You are welcome to sit at any of the counter service restaurants during off hours to sit down and relax.  I personally like the upstairs at Columbia Harbour House where there are little windows that overlook the sidewalks where Fantasyland and Liberty Square meet.  Similarly, Pinocchio Village Haus has a second floor that can be quiet or you can watch the attraction It's a Small World.  It also has a tiny balcony that overlooks Fantasyland which is another quiet spot. If you need to close your eyes, you may find that you can do that on the following attractions:  Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress, The Hall of Presidents, and Tomorrowland Transit Authority Peoplemover.

If you really need a quiet spot, you may find it best to slip away to a nearby resort. Disney's Wilderness Lodge has great space that overlooks the lobby above the main entrance.  It is overlooked by many guests and has very little traffic if any. The convention level of Disney's Contemporary Resort also is a quiet spot with many couches so you can even lie down.

At Epcot, the building that shares the same space as Club Cool has a few benches to relax at as well as light traffic. There are some spots behind the Yorkshire County Fish Shop that overlook the water and the English gardens behind the United Kingdom Pavilion. Similarly, I like the area on the right side of the American Adventure.  You could try to catch a nap at The American Adventure, Ellen's Energy Adventure (it is 45 minutes long!), and Living with the Land. Of course, there are also nearby resorts with comfortable seating and quiet spots along the water.

    Happy Napping! -Kara
